Prepared not just for school, but for a lifelong love of learning.
Developmental Materials Fee
Prepared Materials for Each Stage
The Belle Maison approach depends on a prepared home environment.
Because children’s developmental needs change rapidly from birth through age five, families may be asked to contribute a Developmental Materials Fee so the educator can create a safe, beautiful, age-appropriate learning space aligned with the child’s current stage.
Materials may include books, sensory materials, practical life tools, infant movement materials, art supplies, language materials, fine motor materials, outdoor exploration tools, dramatic play materials, early literacy materials, early math materials, and home environment supports.
Materials are selected based on the child’s age, developmental stage, interests, family goals, safety needs, and the Belle Maison philosophy.
Meet the Founder

Founder
Belle Maison Private Early Learning was founded by Sarah Fritz, an early childhood educator, curriculum specialist, and doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction.
Sarah’s work is rooted in the belief that young children deserve more than supervision. They deserve calm, thoughtful, developmentally appropriate care from adults who understand how children grow. With experience in infant, toddler, preschool, Montessori, literacy, curriculum development, and teacher training, Sarah created Belle Maison to bring high-quality early learning into the home.
Her approach blends play-based learning, respectful guidance, practical life, early literacy, outdoor exploration, and prepared home environments. Belle Maison reflects Sarah’s commitment to protecting childhood while supporting children as capable, curious, whole people.
Through Belle Maison, Sarah hopes to offer families a more intentional option: private early learning that feels warm, educated, calm, and deeply personal.
